ENTERPRISE SYSTEMS SUPPORT MANAGER

You'll be responsible for managing staff responsible for Intranet/Internet/Extranet environments, and other applications that are used by the enterprise such as online forms, BizTalk applications, and other SharePoint systems. The Enterprise Systems Support team works with employees across the organization to gather requirements and develop approaches for implementing new web pages, features and functionality to the companies Intranet/Internet/Extranet.

Other major responsibilities include: ongoing maintenance of the Intranet/Internet/Extranet; analyzing business needs and gathering business requirements for web functionality; acting as resource for project teams, business owners and users in the area of web technologies; participating in related committees to advise on technical standards and future technical direction; and managing the Member/Provider portal technology and relationships.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Supervise Enterprise Systems Support staff in their daily support and development efforts.
-Interview and select new staff.
-Train, monitor and coach members of the team.
-Write and conduct staff performance evaluations.
-Conduct routine meetings with staff, and assist the Director with the facilitation of department meetings.
-Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the Enterprise Systems Support team.
-Implement and support quality control measures in systems related to web development, SharePoint and InfoPath Form Services.
-Develop staff mentoring initiatives within the Enterprise Systems Support team to ensure staff growth fitting the needs of company mission.
-Daily monitoring, administration and maintenance of Intranet/Internet/Extranet/BizTalk environments.
-Create additional web pages, features and functionality to meet the changing requirements of Intranet/Internet/Extranet.
-Analyze, design, develop and test new web pages, features and functionality.
-Communicate the status of web development efforts to management, business areas and information services including written reports.
-Work with business areas to develop architectural guidelines, best practices and standards for Intranet/Internet/Extranet including user experience, organization of content and the management of documents.
-Work with IS to implement and integrate new features and functionality into existing computing environment.
-Work with business areas to perform analysis, define business requirements, and implement innovative solutions that solve business problems or meet business objectives from a tactical perspective.
-Track business and technical trends and keep current with all available technical options, development procedures and innovative solutions for key business efforts.
-Act as a resource to staff and assist in the resolution of web-related issues.
-Develop and maintain knowledge of business, trends in the healthcare industry, and how web technologies are being leveraged within the industry, including competitors.
-Leverage feedback from employees, members and providers to improve the usability and functionality of Intranet and Internet sites.

REQUIRED:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
-Microsoft development certifications in .NET and SharePoint preferred.
-Two years managerial/supervisory experience required.

-Minimum of three to five years of progressively complex experience in an information systems environment.
-Minimum of 3 years of Microsoft .NET development experience.
-Two or more years of Internet/Intranet web page design and development experience.
-Experience with MOSS 2007, WSS 3.0, and SharePoint Designer.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

-Five or more years of IT/System development experience.
-Minimum of two years of SharePoint development experience.
-One or more years of SharePoint architectural design experience on an enterprise implementation.

-Demonstrated organizational, planning and reporting skills Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements
-Skilled in the use of SharePoint Designer and/or MS Front Page Experience with web content management Experience in translating business requirements into functional designs and web applications.

-Knowledge of and skills in: HTML, ASP, .NET and SQL Knowledge of enterprise content management concepts. Knowledge of SharePoint enterprise search and security.
