The employer is located in the Western suburbs and seeks a FTE perm Infrastructure Engineer (cloud computing, virtualization). *This opportunity is with a different employer than the Sr Services Engineer position posted on August 5th.
Qualified candidates will have the ability to be productive in multiple phases of the business life-cycle including services delivery, pre-sales support, solutions development, assisting other Infrastructure Engineers, interfacing with technology suppliers, achieving technical certifications, and other related duties. Relevant candidates will be able to succeed working within a team environment as well as independently.
From a technical perspective, the two most important skills sets are VMware and SAN. The client utilizes multiple platforms so any SAN experience is welcome (EMC, Compellent, Hitachi, NetApp, etc. etc.). Secondarily, experience in the Windows environment and with Cisco technologies is preferred.
