OPPORTUNITY/perm: Oracle Applications Developer

This is a permanent full time position located in the SW metro area.

The position will be technically hands-on and also include business application strategies as well as support responsibilities for multiple concurrent projects. Requirement gathering, process definition, assisting with testing, documentation and ensuring successful migration of code to production. Applications environment is focused on the Oracle Manufacturing, Financial, and Supply Chain systems. Experience in Oracle forms/reports 6i and Oracle Discoverer is necessary.

The role also includes design, development, and maintenance of SQL based apps using PL/SQL and SQL. Emphasis on accessing data from Oracle databases.

-perform high level and detailed design activities
-handle interfacing of Oracle and non-Oracle apps using SOA
-build maintain Oracle based apps
-modify existing Oracle Apps and custom build add-on modules
-design and implement data conversions from Oracle and non-Oracle sources
-act as primary for problem resolution analysis and enhancements of the installed applications
-support apps upgrades
-participate in unit and system testing

-Oracle database triggers, packages, and procedures using PL/SQL
-Oracle reports and/or BI Publisher, Oracle forms, UNIX scripting
-TOAD, Oracle SQL Developer or SQL Navigator or similar tool experience
-OA Framework
-Oracle Workflow
-Java exp. (preferred)

OPPORTUNITY/perm: Business Intelligence Admin. (Cognos and/or Informatica)

Rock solid company located in SW metro is looking for a fte perm Business Intelligence Admin. to install, implement, and maintain 3rd party apps (Cognos, Informatica).

Must have experience in either Cognos or Informatica. So long as you have one of the two technologies, employer will train on other(s).

-Work with application users and team leads to develop implementation plans.
-Work with application users and team leads to develop best practices and procedures.
-Automate repetitive duties.
-Cross train users.

Scripting experience in the UNIX or Microsoft environment is necessary.
