This company is a market leader within their innovative and relevant healthcare niche. Their commercial software products serve elderly populations in coordinating and facilitating the post-acute services continuum in the context of national healthcare.
Experience with SaaS/commercial products is a must for relevance in a qualified candidate. Healthcare specific exp. is preferred but not necessary. Upstream vision, i.e. conceiving of next generation products is also a must for this role.
PRODUCT MANAGER
The Product Manager, Clinical Decision Support, is charged
with creating and executing the future vision and upstream activities of
Clinical Decision Support within EHR.
At our company Product Management is a marketing and general
management function as the leader and general manager of assigned product
lines. This means she/he will have responsibility for the overall vision,
direction, execution and results of assigned product line.
Core Responsibilities
-Research and define market requirements, competitive
positioning, product line positioning, and business strategy into specific
solution requirements and roadmaps. Prioritize and manage the product roadmap
and multi-generation product plans to define and communicate a product line’s
future development over a 12-to-36-month span, including setting client
expectations
-Create and update product presentations detailing supported
applications, product capabilities, competitive strengths, and product line
direction.
-Perform Competitive Analysis including; comparing and
contrasting our product with the competition, understanding and
communicating the competitor's direction and strategy, and thus enabling us to gain a competitive advantage.
-Plan, coordinate, and oversee product launch, develop
positioning, value proposition and messaging, and work with organization to
execute message
-Work directly with Sales Team to develop and introduce sales
promotions/SPIFs.
-Track industry trends, product segment growth, market share,
and product revenue and margin.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer
Science or Marketing required
5-8 years’ experience including 2-4 years in a leadership
role
Experience with core marketing and product management
principles, including market analysis, competitive intelligence and
requirements development
