Sr. WEB DEVELOPER: West metro

**This is FTE permanent position in West metro.

The company offers software products to business that help manage and comply with tax liabilities.  Demand for products has been strong and is increasing hence the addition of another web development resource.  Prospects for continued future growth are strong.

Sr. WEB DEVELOPER

You'll collaborate with Web Developers and Software Engineers on the Software Development team to create easy-to-use and compelling web applications. The Senior Web Developer position will be a hands-on web development professional capable of designing storyboards, professional looking graphics, and web coding on front-end and backend layers.

Responsibilities:

: Design and build web applications within the Agile environment.
: Interface closely with Marketing/Product Management teams in order to design the UX for products
: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to communicate UX design strategy and rational
: Seek feedback regarding end user requirements; take action to implement improvements
: Educate internal teams on best practices around information architecture, interaction and visual designs, usability and supporting technologies
: Participate as a Web Developer within agile teams working on front-end and back-end code

Qualifications:

: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
: 5+ years of experience working with scalable multi-tiered web facing applications
: Knowledge of SaaS technologies
: Experience with Agile and SCRUM development philosophies
: Proven experience on JavaScript/AJAX using frameworks such as ExtJS
: Experience on backend languages and frameworks such as PHP, node.js, etc.
: Track record of developing and delivering successful, intuitive, and compelling designs that contribute towards market leadership
: Knowledge of user centric design approaches
: Knowledge and skills in visual design, information architecture, usability evaluation and technology selection
: Experience in SDLC processes and agile development methodologies
: Demonstrated strong analytical and problem solving skills
: Ability to work and thrive in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative environment
