Sr. NETWORK & INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER: permanent

**This is a permanent FTE role in Minneapolis.

Sr. NETWORK & INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

You'll be responsible for auditing and compliance along with supporting and implementing technologies required for hosting our line of software as a service products in a high availability environment. To be successful, you'll need strong prioritization and planning skills, strong background in security, compliance (i.e. NIST, CIP, SAS70, SSAE 16 or equivalents) and networking. Additionally, demonstrated experience with Cisco routing/switching/firewall technologies, strong experience with Windows 2003/2008 Server operating systems, and experience with database platforms (Microsoft SQL) is strongly desired. You'll be expected to be a participant in a team which is responsible for all aspects of the production environment.


You must demonstrate with minimal direction the attributes of good planning, driving for results, customer focus (both internal and external), planning abilities, good creativity, and problem solving abilities, in addition to good written and oral communication skills. You must live in the twin cities as there are times the candidate will be on call and must be within a certain distance from our office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

: Demonstrated experience with Cisco routing/switching and Cisco secure networking technologies including firewalls and VPN configurations.

: Strong experience with Windows 2003/2008 server platforms including server builds and server maintenance, AD administration, and IIS configuration.

: Experience with database platforms (Microsoft SQL) including installing, managing, monitoring SQL server.

: Experience with network/server high availability configurations including load balancers and server clustering.

: Experience with Storage Area Networks (EMC)

: Must have great attention to detail while operating with sense of urgency, focus, and discipline.

: Support application team by performing production control responsibilities including executing procedures for production software releases.

: Ability to deal effectively in a fast-moving team environment.

: Ability to multi task and manage several projects concurrently.

: Willingness to work off-hours (when needed) and participate in 24X7 on-call rotation.

: Must be a US Citizen and pass background and drug screening tests.
