Sr. SQL APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER
Developers must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. You must understand and conceptualize applications from both a technical/programming perspective and a business point of view. Because you'll deal with both technical personnel and business managers, as well as participate on project teams, you need strong interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent programming abilities in MS SQL Server (TSQL) with strong knowledge of stored procedures, indexing, triggers and cursors is essential.
Additional focus on Web Services and XML generation is extremely important.
• Strong Web Services communication
o XML Generation - strong with XML “plumbing”, not just generating and reading XML files
• SQL Server
• C#, .Net, Java
• Familiarity with Energy markets and business rules is a huge plus (desired, not required)
