Embedded C/C++ Software Developer: contract or contract to hire

This is a contract or contract to hire position located in the Southern metro.

EMBEDDED C/C++ SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

A small and growing development company specializing in a variety of embedded systems including data communication, wireless, and wireline technologies is looking for someone for a 6 plus month engagement.  The projects are focused on the development, extension, and rapid prototyping of WebKit for an embedded system.  They expect other projects to emerge so expect to be involved in a variety of projects.

Technically:
-C/C++, and/or Objective C programming on an embedded system exp.
-Solid understanding of multi-threaded applications and thread safety.

Additional desirable exp.:
-WebKit.  Knowledge of WebKit internals is a big plus.
-Network programming (analyze network packet captures).
-2D and 3D graphics (OpenGL/DirectX).
-IPC techniques.
-Java
-Posix
-DLNA
