SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (WINDOWS/Linux/UNIX)
This company is in a recession proof industry that has actually flourished as much of the Twin Cities has stagnated. As a result they're involved with wide-ranging initiatives to accommodate a growing business. If you're looking for a "right place / right time" opportunity, this is one to consider.
We're looking for a strong Sys Admin. for standard responsibilities as well as:
-participate in the design and configuration of Disaster Recovery Solutions.
-support telephony including setup, toll-free and phantom assignments and station-to-station PBX connectivity.
-competence in base Cisco.
Technically:
-Windows 2000/XP incl. registry, services and IO.
-Linux/UNIX incl. all standard services (DNS/BIND, SSH, FTP, CRON, etc.) and kernal config.
-config. network file systems, auto-mounters, TCP/IP protocols.
-exp. in any of the following: Tk, Perl, shell.
-basic firewall config. and system security incl. patch selection, testing and application, system "hardening" and log acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
-knowledge of network and systems security to incl. aras within scope of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard and the ISO 27002.
