SQL SERVER DBA
This innovative company is a player in the healthcare industry. Their visionary software products insure secure transmission of medical data and images. Primary Responsibilities:
-administer, maintain, develop, and imp. policies and procedures for security and integrity of the company databases.
-handle database performance issues, capacity issues, and replication.
-responsible for implementation of business continuity planning as it pertains to the databases.
-create, document, and test appropriate processes for database backup and recovery.
-create and tune complex SQL and stored procs.
-define and implement new schemas.
-mentor team members on database best practices.
-modify existing database objects.
-create/install production DTS packages.
Technically Speaking:
-exp. with installations, updates and maintenance of database products; creation of databases; maintenance of databases; resolution of performance and capacity issues, and ad-hoc reporting.
-exp. with SSRS.
-exp. with Microsoft CRM and great Plains/Dynamics GP (a plus).
-exp. SSIS (a plus).
-exp. with SQL Server 2008 (a plus).
