SQL SERVER DBA
Local marketing firm utilizing leading edge technology seeks a strong SQL Server DBA that can take center stage from a production and support perspective. **What they've had a hard time finding thus far in a qualified candidate is someone with strong maintenance side skills (index tuning, storage allocations, etc. etc.).
-exp. with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 & 2005; SQL Server 2008 a plus.
-administer, maintain, develop, and implement policies and procedures for ensuring integrity of company databases.
-Active Directory planning, deployment, and support exp. AD disaster recovery and AD group policy creation and adminstration a big plus.
-resolve database perf. issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues.
-talent and interest in perf. tuning, maintenance plans, job monitoring, and awareness of SQL execution plans.
-Idera monitoring, Commvault backups/restores, Compellent data storage exp. a plus.
-MCDA a plus.
