OPPORTUNITY/perm: Applications Analyst (PACS / RIS / CVIS)

This is a permanent position located in the Western suburbs.

Applications Analyst: Medical Imaging

**PACS*RIS*CVIS**

Applications Analysts are technical experts in the operation, configuration, and customization of any of the following packaged solutions:
-GE Centricity RIS-IC
-Powerscribe
-Amicas PACS
-McKesson Horizon Cardiology CVIS
-GE Centricity CVIS
-EA PACS
-Carestream PACS

a. Assists in preparing specifications including record layouts, program descriptions, and decision tables.
b. Does coding, testing, and implementation for enhancement and maintenance of current systems.
c. Supports pre-packaged apps by maintaining configuration tables, resolving tickets by working with vendor help desk.
d. Participates in small application upgrades.
e. May write ad-hoc queries using Crystal Reports, Enform, or BRIO.
f. Takes small projects from design, planning, implementation, and maintenance.
g. Minor project development on top of pre-packaged apps using COBOL, JAVA, and Cold Fusion.
h. Experience in Radiology and Cardiology departments ideal.
