Provides strong technical data management, data services and operations within a Technical Client Data Services department or similar. Provides expert system interaction advice, performs investigations and ensures that Date Services acquire the technical skills necessary to succeed in their responsibilities. This position also formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop or modify complex applications and designs and data systems and provides systems support.
• Two years of SQL experience with an Intermediate to Advanced understanding of SQL as described below:
• Intermediate understands complex joins
• Advanced is capable of creating stored procedures
• Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
• QA medical and pharmacy claims including knowledge of HCPCS, CPT, ICD9 Procedures, ICD9 Diagnosis, Revenue and NDC coding.
• Create source to target data mapping with transformation rules
• Trend health data for accuracy and completeness
• Desire to learn the details of the data so you can provide accurate information for user requests.
• Communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical people.
