FRONT END DEVELOPER / DESIGNER

This company is a financially stable and innovative leader within their niche industry.  Revenues are driven by purchase of products via the web.  Technology is a crucial hub of their business.  Exciting initiatives are now under way to grow and evolve web and ecommerce technologies.  Due to the specialized nature of the niche, the company does not experience the typical swings associated with retail.  The company has been in business for decades.

Technical Requirements:

Expert level knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS (HTML5, CSS3)

Experience with UI/UX development process (Mockup, Prototype, Design, Testing, Review)

Experience building web interfaces for multiple browsers/platforms (Desktop, Tablet, Mobile)

Experience with design/code reviews and mentoring of peers in design/front end best practices.

Ability to manage large variety of graphical assets for multiple simultaneous projects.

Stay informed of industry trends to recommend and implement effective best practices/technologies.

Preferred Experience:

JavaScript Libraries (jQuery, Knockout.js)

Dynamic CSS, DCSS (Less, Foundation CSS Framework)

Template Engine (Apache Velocity, Mako)

Experience in an iterative development environment.

Version Control (Git)

What you'll do:

You'll be responsible for implementing the front end design, layout, and functionality for multiple external and internal web applications using the latest web standards. You'll be a core team member throughout the UI/UX development process from conception to implementation. You'll also be working with multiple developers on multiple web applications simultaneously.

You've got good communication and cooperative skills when working among a mixed team of technical and business professionals.  You need to be a quick learner who is unafraid to ask questions, along with the enthusiasm for taking ownership of their work.
