*This is a contract opportunity in Minneapolis.  Duration is 6-12 months.


This international firm is involved in an exciting initiative combining 60 disparate websites from recently acquired companies into one unified platform.  The company is involved in assessments among other big data-centric offerings. 


Sr. JAVA WEB DEVELOPER


You're a Sr. level developer and will be integral in helping us build out our new J2EE platform. We are using the latest technology best practices to build our platform of the future. Your primary focus will be full life-cycle development of new software as we create products to match the requirements of the new system. You will work with a strong team of new and experienced developers and have an opportunity to broaden and deepen your skills as a developer.


- Solve complex problems using technology,
- Develop customer-oriented solutions,
- Create and maintain application code and modules,
- Create and maintain documentation of modules,
- Complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints,
- Participate in design and code walk through, and
- Perform technical risk analysis and unit testing.


Experience and Education Requirements:
: B.S. in Computer Science: Demonstrated experience with object-oriented programming standards and processes, Open Source experience a plus
: 3 - 10 years experience using Java
: Java EE 6 (JPA, EJB, JSF, PrimeFaces) a plus
: XML and  XSLT a plus
: Experience with PrimeFaces a plus
: Experience with MySQL, XML, and MS SQL a plus
