SQL SERVER DBA (intermediate)
Prominent retailer in the SW suburbs seeks a intermediate level SQL Server DBA. The company is innovative in the retail industry incorporating online, mobile, social media, and television as a means to selling products.
You'll work closely with web developers in the design, development, test, and production environments. Must possess an understanding of data modeling techniques and best practices as well as online and batch processing systems. Strong communication skills are a must!
-Exp. with ERWin (4.x)
-Microsoft SQL Server 7/2000, MS clustering, SQL replication, SQL log shipping
-UNIX and Windows platforms
-SQL Server 2000 Reporting Services (preferred)
-Remote Desktop, Terminal Server, VPN (preferred)
-SAN/SCSI devices incl. hard drives and tape devices (preferred)
-Retail industry (preferred)
-Tables, Stored Procs, Triggers, DTS packages
