SENIOR .NET SOFTWARE ENGINEER


You will help design and develop a wide variety of server side and client side platforms. You will analyze, design, prototype and code new products using the latest technologies, tools and methodologies.  The ability to take features from concept to completion and handling client-side/ server-side tasks are at the core of your job responsibilities.  The company is a highly collaborative group using Agile/TDD process to deliver results.


Job Responsibilities:  


1.  Translates business and technical requirements into application systems. Follows set development guidelines.

2.  Responsible for design, development, oversight and sign off work products from internal and external service providers, ensuring that delivered work products conform to the needs of the product plans and meet the desired quality.
3.  Leverages various internal and external resources during solution design to ensure that the ultimate solution meets the specified design and each component achieves specified results.
4.  Provides all artifacts to ensure maintenance provider can support, enhance, and maintain application.  Builds for the lowest blend of project and maintenance costs.
5.  Reviews development efforts to ensure compliance with application and development standards. 
6.  Influences application architecture and development standards. May author development standards.
7.  Codes, tests, identifies, implements and documents technical solutions to business challenges utilizing web and related technologies.
8.  Performs design and analysis for deliverables and may lead larger team design sessions.
9.  Ability provide recommendation towards simplification and efficiency of the business and technology environment. This takes into consideration costs, business needs, and system impacts.
10.  Identifies tasks associated significant development efforts.
11.  Researches and stays current on best practices in the technology industry as well as emerging technology.
12.  Provides effort estimates for mobile projects.
13.  Facilitates technical decision making and represents the team direction to various stakeholders.
14.  Mentors others and be seen as a leader on their teams and with their customers.
15.  Ability to provide end-to-end effort estimate for complete projects.
16.  Ability to lead discussions with clients, management, co-workers, operation, technical support, and vendors to ensure the smooth operation of systems and project delivery

Qualifications:


Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or Information Systems or relevant work experience

5+ years of development experience on the Microsoft stack, SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server 2008+
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles
Proficient in C#, with a strong understanding of the .Net Framework
Web 2.0, HTML5 and JavaScript w/SPA framework experience 
RESTful Services, understanding of Microservices architecture. 
NUnit and a passion for a TDD environment
Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server SQL, MongoDB is plus
Experience with automated CI environments and tools
Knowledge in scripting in Windows (PowerShell)
Exposure to Git
Self-starter eager to learn new technologies; enthusiastic about researching opportunities.
Exposure to a consultancy environment
Experience working with clients and understand the relationship value with clients.
Native Android and iOS development experience a plus

Sr. DIRECTOR of PROGRAM MANAGEMENT

You'll provide vision, leadership and direction for the enterprise Project Management Office. As the Director of Software Program Management, you will be deeply involved in strategic planning, resourcing, and development of full life cycle of software applications. The role will include defining and maintaining the standards of enterprise project management and processes including project prioritization and portfolio governance.

As Director, you'll also be responsible for managing and developing a small, nimble and effective organization of project analysts and project managers. To accomplish this goal the Director of SPM will be responsible for developing and delivering on New Product Introduction (NPI) process and sustaining projects, across the research and development organization.  The Director will report into the SVP R&D/CTO and be based in Bloomington, MN, just outside of Minneapolis.

Our ideal candidate will have prior Healthcare Information Technology experience. Preferred candidates will have experience working in both enterprise and technology-focused PMOs and experience leading end-to-end process improvement efforts. Expertise in Agile project management methodologies and with various process improvement methodologies such as agile scrum, Lean and Six Sigma is highly favored.


Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

SOFTWARE ARCHITECT

Responsibilities:
